| Can't make it on 8/6/11? Lend a hand throughout the summer as a part of our partner effort with the Shiawassee County Health Department to remove and recycle tires found in the river environment. Enjoy a float down the river while helping towards our efforts to steward a valuable economic resource. Since 2008, 450 tires from the river have been recycled with funding from the Great Lakes Commission. To help in the 2010 effort, contact the FOSR by emailing info@shiawasseeriver.org.
