Join the Friends of the Shiawassee River and Livingston County to help discover more about aquatic life in the Shiawassee River. No experience is necessary and training & equipment are provided. Locations are available in Shiawassee & Livingston Counties- Sign up early to reserve your site!
Sites in Shiawassee County include North State Drain (Rush Twp.), Six Mile Creek (New Haven Twp.), the Shiawassee Mainstem (Owosso Twp.), Webb Creek (Vernon Twp.), and Scribner Drain (Burns Twp.).

Volunteers will:
U Learn about the bugs that call the river system home.
U Be trained to collect samples and how to use equipment
(all equipment will be provided).
U Work side-by-side with stream experts.
U Find out more about the impor tance of the Shiawassee River.
U Join other members of their community to make a difference!
U Have fun & enjoy time outdoors!
