Pamela Repp, Refuge Manager
Pamela Repp, Refuge Manager will describe efforts to address restoration and community needs of the former Germania golf course that is now part of the Shiawassee NWR.
Pam became the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge Manager in December 2016. Although she has a diverse background of experiences in the Fish and Wildlife Service, she most recently worked for the Huron-Manistee National Forest here in Michigan as a District Ranger. While with the Fish and Wildlife Service she was a Division Chief in the Denver, CO Regional Office overseeing the energy, contaminants, and National Wetland Inventory programs. Prior to that, she was the Assistant Field Supervisor responsible for the Service’s implementation of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Program. She also has extensive experience managing threatened and endangered species including the northern spotted owl and bull trout. Pam received her B.S. degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management from Humboldt State University. She loves traveling, all outdoor activities and is a triathlete. Her passion is active land management to achieve conservation goals and environmental education of youth.
